Simple server has been up for so long time now and a lot of my followers have been using it even before it got known by a lot.Tweakware VPN is an Android app that allows you to hide your real IP, gain access to restricted contents, multiple server location and unlimited bandwidth on all servers.
You can gain free internet access by using built in proxy tweaks like reverse proxy, injection query, custom headers to bypass domain/IP based restrictions/billing.
Tweakware VPN gives you unlimited bandwidth on all servers and for the lovers of Etisalat social packs, you don’t have to worry about speed throttling when using Tweakware VPN unlike Psiphon.
You can use it on any network but for now Tweakware VPN have preset Spectranet, MTN Bis, MTN 2go 3gb, MTN Music plus and Etisalat Social pack settings and there are options for manually configuring it for other networks.
An update on Tweakware app recently included MTN 2go bundle meaning you can also use your accumulated MTN 2go 3GB data via Tweakware.
An interesting aspect of this app is that it doesn’t require a lot of setup procedures unlike Psiphon handler and Simple Android Server. It has its vital settings already preset and only requires very little more modification. There is also an option for manual configuration too.
Another magnificent thing is that Tweakware VPN doesn’t need root authorization to work.
Now we will scroll you through setting up MTN and Etisalat to get unlimited browsing similar to that on the Simple Server but here with Tweakware VPN application.

Here is how to configure and browse with MTN and Etisalat via Tweakware VPN. Follow the simple steps below to get started….
STEPS ON HOW TO CONFIGURE MTN AND ETISALAT ON TWEAKWARE VPN
FOR MOBILE APN SETTINGS
Configure your mobile APN settings as seen below…
FOR ETISALAT USERS
Use your Etisalat default settings
• APN: etisalat
• APN TPYE: default, supl
• PROXY & PORT: blank
• USERNAME & PASSWORD: blank
FOR MTN USERS
Use your MTN default settings
• APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
• APN TPYE: default, supl
• PROXY & PORT: blank
• USERNAME & PASSWORD: blank
THE TWEAKWARE VPN SETTINGS
STEPS 1: Subscribe to Etisalat social pack by dialing *200*3*3*2*1*1# costs N100 or MTN BBLited plan *216*7# costs N70.
Others packages on…
Etisalat
• Monthly Chat Pack >> *200*3*3*1*2*1# @ N500 and its valid for 1month
• Weekly Chat Pack >> *200*3*3*2*2*1# @ N300 and its valid for 7days
• Weekly Chat Pack >> *200*3*3*1*2*1# @ N150 and its valid for 7days
Note: To deactivate this plan dial 3435*0#
MTN
• A Month BB 10 Plan, for N1000 [SMS BBLITEM to 21600 or you dial *216*9#].
• Week BB10 Plan for N350 [SMS BBLITEW to 21600 or you dial *216*8#]
STEP 2: Download and Install Tweakware VPN.
STEP 3: Open the app then locate the option button at the top right corner (in three dots), open it.
STEP 4: Select settings then navigate to bundle settings. Tap to open bundle settings.
STEP 5: A popup should appear immediately after opening bundle settings, tick “Use bundled settings” and select your desired bundle (MTN Bis, Etisalat chat pack, spectranet or MTN 2go) depending on the one you subscribed for.
STEP 6: Go to Tweakware home, click on connect and then wait for it to show connected!
STEP 7: Minimize and enjoy unlimited surfing!!!
Tweakware VPN Manual Configuration For Etisalat
In the advent of no preconfigured bundled settings on Etisalat chat pack or you’re facing network issues… Here is how to go about setting it up yourself just like how you would when using Psiphon/SS
How to Configure Tweakware Manually with Etisalat Social pack.
STEPS
1. Open Tweakware VPN app..
2. Go to option button found at the top right corner, then open it.
3. Select settings >> navigate to network settings.
4. Check Connect Via HTTP Proxy box to enable proxy.
5. Configure it as seen below…
• Proxy Host: mobile.facebook.com
• Proxy Port: 8080
• Enable >> Proxy Tweaks
• Go to Proxy Tweaks >> Enable Reverse Proxy
• Go to Custom Headers >> Add: X-Online Host: mobile.facebook.com
• Go back to Server Settings >> Change Port to 3128
6. You can always follow method one(1) procedure(see method below) in setting up a better network connection on tweakware VPN before moving to step 7..(this step is optional)
7. Confirm default server and click connect. (After successfully authenticating, press back button and it will connect automatically)
FOR BETTER NETWORK STABILITY ON TWEAKWARE VPN
If you’re experiencing bad or slow network on tweak, here is what you should do…
Method 1
1. Open settings >> Network settings >> Connection settings >> Tick Keepalive box
• Keepalive Interval >> type 5
• Keepalive Timeout >> choose 5
2. Confirm default server and click connect. (After successfully authenticating, press back button and it will connect automatically)
Method 2
If you’re having problem connecting Tweakware VPN for the first time (keeps authenticating without connecting), then you will need to update Tweakware server list… Do this..
• Make sure there is an active internet connection.
• Launch Tweakware VPN.
• Press & hold server list on the home screen to update server.
• Select any available server on the list displayed.
Alternative method; This can also be done manually by having to alter the Proxy Host (IP) & Port via settings.. (use same Ip and Port as seen here). To do this Go to Settings >> Network settings >> Change Proxy Host (IP) and Port.
